Of course shipping delays can happen, but good communication reduces stress. Nobody wants pretty shoes that hurt after ten minutes of walking. This is why I like reading and posting on forums and community websites.

Many people do not mind waiting if they understand what is going on. It makes it easier to compare with an old pair of glasses that already fits well. I also pay attention to return policy and customer service response time. In the past I have wasted money on items that looked good in photos but felt cheap in real life. They are simply the ones that fit well and survive many rounds of washing or daily use.
Maybe this is useful for someone.
