Online shopping will always have a bit of risk, but experience makes it easier. Some charts are very generic and do not match real measurements at all. I also check if the lenses have any blue light filter or anti-reflection coating. Each material has advantages and disadvantages depending on season and activity.

When every picture has different colors or extreme filters, it is usually a bad sign. Smaller shops can be surprisingly friendly if they care about repeat customers. Price is important to me, but quality and comfort are even more important in the long run. For daily use items I try to balance price, build quality and real user feedback.
